Foundation Repair

Our foundation repair process addresses issues or damages in a building's foundation. The foundation is a critical component of any structure, providing stability and support. Over time, various factors such as soil movement, water damage, poor construction, or natural disasters can lead to problems in the foundation which can cause wall cracks, leaks, and uneven floors.

What is our process?

Inspection and Assessment

The first step involves a thorough inspection of the foundation to identify the extent and nature of the damage. This may include visible cracks, uneven settling, or other signs of structural issues.

Material Selection:

The choice of materials for repair depends on the nature of the foundation issues and the selected repair method. Common materials include concrete, steel, salt and pressure treated lumbar.

Repair Methods:

Underpinning: strengthening the foundation by reinforcing its existing supports.

Piering: Installing piers beneath the foundation to support and lift it to its original level.

Grouting: Filling voids beneath the foundation with a stabilizing material to prevent further settlement.

Waterproofing: Addressing issues related to water damage and drainage to prevent future foundation problems.

Preventative Measures

In addition to repairing the foundation, it's essential to implement preventive measures to avoid future problems. This may involve improving drainage around the property, addressing water leaks, and maintaining proper soil conditions.
